This association was created at the instigation of a woman affected by the distress of disadvantaged people in France and in developing countries.
Others have joined her to become active members, sponsors and a multitude of supporters around the world.
The structure is gradually developing and attracts the interest and participation of people passionate about the humanitarian world, solidarity missions, inspires vocations, trains and motivates volunteers and interns.
QUI SOMMES-NOUS ? (l’équipe locale France, Suisse)
We are a group from France, Switzerland and elsewhere. We live in our respective countries and contribute to the fulfilment of individuals and to the aid of developing countries, promoting access to basic necessities, health, education, culture and peace according to the means.
We are mostly sponsors of children and active sponsors in the countries where we operate.
We are all volunteers, united around the values of Peace, Mutual Aid and Unity!
WHAT ARE OUR OBJECTIVES ?
The international association Soleils du monde was in its beginnings in 2001 a de facto association without any particular denomination, a group of friends in the Quartier des Provinces Françaises de Nanterre for diverse and supportive actions and meetings.
It was incorporated as a humanitarian association, non-profit-making ("loi 1901") declared to the Prefecture of Nanterre (92) France on 6 July 2007 under number 24030472.
Since its creation, the main objective of the association has been to provide assistance to disadvantaged people in France with foreign minorities and people in difficulty as well as in developing countries with children, families and various institutions.
The association also aims to raise awareness of mutual aid and peace, education and the development of disadvantaged children and families in peaceful and united communities.
The association's resources to date have come from the personal contributions of its founding members, donations of sponsorships, annual fees, fundraising, corporate donations, donations in kind, as well as from collections at specific cultural events and activities carried out to carry out the various humanitarian missions.
WE WILL NOT FORGET THEM
They have been with us since the creation of the association but have left to join the angels in the meantime in November 2011 and March 2013.
We keep them in our thoughts and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts
